My dear children, If you are reading this you are one of the most privileged children in the world, you are currently in education, you have access to the internet, technology and ultimately you have access to an amazing library in your school which is a key to free knowledge. But you may not realise this as you live in your world, your life is overtaken by education and social media. Everything is available by finger tip, by a click or tap. You might be wondering what is the point in reading books? You can build a world by using 26 English or 51 Malayalam letters of the alphabet. It is you alone that can create that world, your imagination taking you into that world. There is no limit to your world and no one can take that away from you. You will be amazed by the new words you will pick up when you are reading. Not only you will be able to write well, you will be able to articulate better to others. The more you read, the more words you are exposed to. Exposure to well-written work can also have a huge impact on your own writing.
